For anybody who wants to get out and about: The AVV-Ferien-Ticket

Visit your friends, take a trip to the swimming pool, or the theatre. Throughout the holidays, the AVV Ferien-Ticket lets you travel by bus and rail around the clock: 100% mobility in the whole AVV network.

Area of validity

The Ferien-Ticket is valid throughout the AVV network.

Period of validity

• In the Easter holidays from April 16 to May 1, 2011.
• In the Summer holidays from July 23 to September 6, 2011.
• In the Autumn holidays from October 22 to November 6, 2011.
• In the Christmas holidays from December 23, 2011 to January 8, 2012.

Freedom of travel

• The Ferien-Ticket is available to anybody over 60.
• Travel without limits: All through the school holidays you can travel by bus and regional train (RegionalExpress, RegionalBahn, S-Bahn)—around the clock in the AVV.
• Applicable throughout the AVV network: From Wegberg in the north to Monschau in the south, from Selfkant in the west to Nörvenich in the east.

TIP: Your grandchildren can come too!

The Ferien-Ticket costs 26.80 Euro in Summer and 13.40 Euro during the other holiday periods, including for all under 16's (under 21's attending school).

• Vor der ersten Fahrt müssen Sie in das Ferien-Ticket den Namen und das Geburtsdatum eintragen.
• Das Ferien-Ticket ist nur in Verbindung mit einem Lichtbildausweis gültig.
