On tour with your bicycle

Buses and trains in the AVV network have facilities allowing you to take your bicycle with you. Depending on the distance to travel, you will need a Fahrrad-Ticket (bicycle ticket) for each bicycle. You have the choice of a ticket for a single journey or a ticket for any number of journeys on one day.

Validity period

Das Fahrrad-Ticket gilt  je nach Wahl für eine Einzelfahrt oder für beliebig viele Fahrten an einem Tag.

Geltungsbereich

Das Fahrrad-Ticket gilt im AVV-Gesamtnetz.

Taking your bike along

In buses marked with the bicycle symbol:

• Mondays to Fridays after 7 pm.
• Saturdays after 3 pm.
• Sundays and public holidays all day long.

In trains with multi-purpose compartment:

• All day long.

In trains without multi-purpose compartment:

• 2 bicycles per passenger entrance area.
• Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 3:30 pm and after 6 pm.
• Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays all day long.

Please note that passengers with push chairs and in wheel chairs have priority over bicycles at all times. If necessary, officials can decide on the transport of bicycles on a case-by-case basis.
