One ticket for road and rail
Applicable with AVV: One ticket for road and rail, one ticket from departure to destination, including transfers. The area covered by the AVV includes the StädteRegion Aachen and the districts of Düren and Heinsberg. Within this area, the AVV network fare applies on all AVV bus lines and without restriction in 2nd class compartments of all local trains.

Travelling with children
Children under 6 can travel with you for free. Children under 15 travel at the reduced child price.
Severely disabled
The severely handicapped travel at no charge on bus and rail (2nd class) in the AVV network assuming they have a supplementary sheet and valid prepaid ticket. For travel with the AVV lines in other countries, a ticket must be bought for the portion of the journey outside of Germany.
