You like going out? It's never too late—our night-time buses will get you home even if it's long after midnight: In the nights from Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, and before all public holidays.
You can use your AVV ticket on the night-time buses. Day tickets apply even for the last bus operating on the night routes.
In Aachen, the
ASEAG Nachtexpress routes N1 to N8 departing at 1:45 am and 2:45 am (route N1, N3, N4, N5, N8 also at 3:45 am) from the »Elisenbrunnen« bus stop (departing from Aachen Bushof about 2 minutes later) travel to just about all parts of the city of Aachen as well as Kelmis, Herzogenrath, Stolberg and Würselen.
The route N13 departs from »Hücheln Wasserfeld« at 0:45 am, travelling via Eschweiler bus station (departing at 1:05 am) to Aachen Bushof.
TIP: You can order a taxi from the ASEAG buses for the last few steps on your journey home. Just ask the driver in good time.
The region surrounding Düren is served by a star-shaped pattern of
DKB night buses that depart from Dürener main railway station (main entrance, upper level) at 11:50 pm, 0:50 am and 1:50 am – depending on the arrival times of trains from Cologne. The usual AVV network fare is subject to a night-time surcharge of 1.00 Euro.
In addition to the main railway station, the bus can be boarded at Kaiserplatz in Düren. The night buses stop at a fixed selection of bus stops. The driver can decide on the route as requested.
Within the Aachen city limits, ASEAG Sammelautos (shared cars) travel nightly every half-hour between 0:30 am and 3:00 am (except for New Year's Eve and in the Carneval season from Fettdonnerstag until and including Rosenmontag when additional night buses are available). [more]
